Accountant

Responsibilities:

Handle full -set & consolidate accounts.
Liaising with external parties such as auditors, tax agent, company secretary, bankers, lawyers, government authorities and suppliers.
Handling financial reportings and taxation and ensuring they are accurate, timely and in compliance with financial accounting standards, Companies Acts and relevant laws and regulations.
Lead the Finance Department and manage the accounting personnel in daily accounting/finance work.
Credit control functions and collections.
Preparation of budget/ forecast, cash flow projection, tax estimates.
Ensure timely closing of accounts during month end / year end.
Provide guidance to fellow team members.
Managing efficiently all payroll, processing and related function.
Provide support to management in the preparation, analysis and reporting of financial results.
Monitoring cash flow of the company.
Assist in any ad-hoc reporting and projects.
Willing to undertake challenges and handle multiple ad-hoc function and related duties as and when necessary.

Requirements:


Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accounting or ACCA, CIMA, MACPA or a MIA member.
At least 3 years of working experience in related field is required for this position will be an added advantage..
Familiar with SAP, UBS system, and accounting packages will be an added advantage.
Excellent computer skills, particularly with MS Excel and MS Word are required to be successful in this role.
Knowledge in full-set accounts.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with positive attitude, resourceful and communication skills
Proactive, good analytical skill, meticulous, problem solving skills and possess interpersonal skill are preferred.
Honest, responsible and exercise confidentiality.
Able to meet deadline. Self motivated with high degree of professionalism and commitment to meet deadlines and objectives.
Positive working attitude and able to work in a team.
Good command of English, Chinese & Bahasa Malaysia.
Applicants must be willing to work in Pekan Nanas.
Applicants should be Malaysian citizens.

Job Functions
Produce accurate Financial Reports in a timely manner including cash flow, monthly P & L, Balance Sheet, Production costs and annual full audited account.
Ensure all financial records and book keeping documents are accurate, up to date and available for examination at all times
Credit control on sales & collection of funds, FOREX contracting, L/C Control and currency dealing
Liaison with external agencies such as MIDA, MITI, Treasury, Auditors and etc
Requirements:

Diploma or Degree holder in Accounting subject.
A minimum of 3 years experience
Experience in KAIZEN, TQM, TPM or similar working environment.
Ability to communicate and write in both English and Bahasa Malay.
Some working knowledge in the use of common PC based office programs.
